At Jigsaw, we believe a great nursery experience starts with understanding the child in front of us. Children don't all settle in the same way. They don't become confident at the same time, enjoy the same activities or learn in exactly the same way. That's why we take time to get to know each child — their personality, interests, routines, relationships and the things that make them feel most comfortable.
We create environments where children have the freedom to explore, play, ask questions, make choices and develop at their own pace, supported by practitioners who know when to offer encouragement, when to join in and when to simply let discovery happen.
For us, nursery isn't about rushing children towards the next milestone.

Our team brings together a range of experience, knowledge and early-years qualifications. We value both professional development and the practical experience that comes from getting to know children, understanding their individual needs and supporting them throughout their early years.
Safeguarding is a fundamental part of working with children. Our practitioners are expected to understand their responsibilities, recognise potential concerns and follow the appropriate procedures to help protect the safety and wellbeing of every child in our care.
Having people who know how to respond when a child is unwell or has an accident is an important part of nursery life. Appropriate first-aid arrangements help ensure children can receive prompt care and reassurance when they need it.
Learning doesn't stop when someone gains their qualification. Ongoing training, reflection and sharing knowledge helps practitioners continue developing their skills and ensures our approach evolves alongside the children and families we support.
Every child deserves to feel that they belong. Our approach is centred around understanding individual children and working with families to identify where additional support may be helpful, helping children participate fully in nursery life and develop in ways that are meaningful to them.
