Jigsaw is a family of two nurseries in Coventry, built around a simple belief: children thrive when they feel happy, secure, understood and excited to discover what comes next.
From a child's first days at nursery through to their journey towards school, we want Jigsaw to be somewhere they feel they belong — a place filled with caring relationships and meaningful experiences.

It All Starts With the Child
At Jigsaw, we believe a great nursery experience starts with understanding the child in front of us. Children don't all settle in the same way. They don't become confident at the same time, enjoy the same activities or learn in exactly the same way. That's why we take time to get to know each child — their personality, interests, routines, relationships and the things that make them feel most comfortable.
We create environments where children have the freedom to explore, play, ask questions, make choices and develop at their own pace, supported by practitioners who know when to offer encouragement, when to join in and when to simply let discovery happen.
For us, nursery isn't about rushing children towards the next milestone.
It's about making their early years something worth remembering.
We want children to love coming to nursery.

Learning At Jigsaw
Learning Doesn't Only Happen at a Table
Watch children playing and you'll see learning happening everywhere.
A tower that keeps falling becomes a lesson in problem-solving. Pouring water between containers introduces ideas about capacity. A pretend café develops language, imagination and social skills. Putting on a coat builds independence and coordination.
Our approach follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) while recognising that young children learn most naturally through experiences that capture their interest.
Our practitioners observe what children are doing, introduce new ideas, ask questions and create opportunities that help take their thinking a little further.

Feeling safe is the foundation of everything children do at nursery.
Our responsibility extends from the physical environment around children to the relationships they build with the adults caring for them.
We have safeguarding procedures, recruitment processes, staff training and day-to-day practices designed to protect children's welfare while allowing them the freedom they need to play, explore and develop confidence.
Just as importantly, we want children to feel emotionally safe — comfortable asking for help, expressing how they feel and knowing that the adults around them will listen.
