There is a great deal of history to the Nursery building, ‘The School House’. The house was originally built by an Earlsdon gentleman for his family. However later during the war years, his two daughters, one of whom was a teacher, ran the premises as a school. It is unknown exactly how many years ‘The School House’ operated as a school, but was converted back to a family home until 1996. It was at this point in 1996, that it was converted once again back into a Nursery School, and has operated in this way once again for nearly the last 20 years. This has resulted in the building having welcomed many generations of the same family and their children over the years. This continues to be the case to this day.
